Providence Stadium (Providence, Guyana)

The Providence Stadium was built in 2006 ahead of the 2007 World Cup in the Caribbean. The stadium is suited 9km south of the capital, Georgetown and cost just over $30 million to build.

The West Indies have played one test match at the Providence Stadium losing by 121 runs against Sri Lanka. The stadium is best know as the venue where Sri Lanka's Lasith Malinga took four wicket in the space of fours balls against South Africa during the World Cup.
